Regardless of your level of experience with painting, oil paint or portraiture, this workshop breaks down the REALISTIC OIL PAINTING into a step-by-step plan that everyone can follow and enjoy!

 During this four-week workshop we will cover the fundamentals of oil painting, rules of colour, tools and mediums, proportion and composition, traditional oil layering techniques, tricks of perception, the minds influence over what our eyes are really seeing and much, much more! 

 Having taught both private and group painting classes around Australia for five years, Bonnie McArthur believes in the importance of a stress-free, highly supportive environment to allow us to explore our potential and individual styles.

 Bonnie believes more artists should share their artistic skills rather than keeping studio secrets for their sole benefit and careers. By doing this we stop supporting industry-provoked competition and begin creating mutually beneficial communities through Art.
